Hey everybody,

Just fitted a new sub box that I made for my Aygo. The results of the build are quite satisfying. I have taken some photos which are as follows.

It was inspired by this one that I saw at the motorshow:

Obviously from the pictures you can see I didn't bother doing the amp as they did on the other side of the boot but I think my setup is not bad.

The quality difference from my old box:

is greatly improved and now I feel the equaliser is being used more to its full potential.

Thats well nice! shame the box isnt pink thou!

thats the kinda thing im wanting to do with mine when i get my new sub.

just wanted to know what the how much the box has an effect of the sound? like is it more bassy the longer the box is or the more space it has around the speaker?

I dunno really. I knew the rough size it needed to be to work so I went with that. It definatley sound more tight than my old one which was larger (and had air gaps). My new one is fully sealed and sounds much deeper and higher quality. The actual box behind the speaker is a foot square.
