Anti Roll Bar Mounting 90 Gtr

Hi,

the bolt that holds the anti roll bar bracket to the chassis has sheared off leavng the remains in the chassis.

Would anyone know if there is a repair piece or is it a case of drilling out the bolt and captive nut and welding a new nut in.

Think it`s a case of drilling them out. if you`re carefull and accurate with a drill you should be able to drill just the bolt out then re tap the thread of the nut. I use a small windy drill (Compressed air) for these jobs. Not too bulky and more controllable than a B&D hammer drill. :D

Hi Dak,

I'll have a go at drilling it but I haven't a tap and die set so I'll probably end up drilling it all out and be forced to weld a nut in.
