Recently i have converted two 2ct diesel engines fitted on the carina e for marine purposes that is for motorboat propulsion and both are going great the only drawbacks are the CT20 turbos, i have heard that these turbos have their limitations regarding input can anyone tell me what turbo replacements i can get to obtain that bit more power and if possible water cooled types would be a better choice.

CT-26 would be a litle bigger. And it would be even better if the CT-26 would be from a ST-185 Celica or a CT-20b from a ST-205 celica. If you don't want Toyota turbos then perhaps a Garrett GT28. But it has to have water cooling in the turbo, because it's in a boat. All those Toyota turbos i listed are water cooled, not sure about the after market Garrett's if they are water cooled.
