Gen 7 Brake Discs

My Gen 7 140 needs a new set of rear pads and discs (as well as new front tyres! - expensive month!). I would like to do this job myself however the only discs I can find are Mintex and £177 a pair. This feels expensive. Can anybody advise as to whether this is about the right price and if not anyone know where I can get a cheaper pair from?

I know the feeling!!! I need new discs and pads for my celica 190, cheapest I have found anywhere is about £270 for them all on thequalityfactor.co.uk...altho not sure thats website i've found them on but thats what they replied from.

Not done the calculations yet, but buypartsby.co.uk poss are bit cheaper...

So yep...expensive! lol

Will let you know if I find anywhere cheaper.

Oooo early update...check on eBay....

eBay shop the motorist warehouse....110 quid for the front...mintex ones again...

Check out Mr T, you might be surprised.

I replaced the rear discs & pads on Anne's Celica and they were cheaper than all the motor factors (Discs about £60 each I think)
