New Compressor Fitted

well mr t rang me yesterday said they,d put the new compressor on my corolla and the cars ready to pick up .oh and by the way they changed the exhaust down pipe cos it was noisy um! didn,t i go down and speak to the technician and voice my concerns that the compressor wasn,t noisy it was the exhaust .well he was convinced it was the comp ,so picking it up today want a bit of an explaination about changing exhaust when they adament it was ok .get the feeling some one replaced a perfectly good compressor and taken 2 weeks to do it for the sake of an exhaust rattle.:ffs: will let u no how i get on well peaved :censor:

well got car back mr t said compressor was noisy! it just so happened they had had a guy from toyota round and he said they have had a lot of problems with the compressors they were fitting to the corollas during the conversions and had taken some of and changed them before they had even been sent out!how much truth in that i dont no but changing the down pipe has certainly cured the noise i took it in for .not to sure if car is as quick as before but it does seem smoother on set of will see how it goes .mentioned about crunching in 3 rd gear when cold didn,t really no what i ment said its no different to other corollas!!!!
