How can I stop my front number plate from becoming stained at the top from the water running off the bonnet? Just had an MOT and an advisory for the plate to be replaced.

I'm guessing you could fix a frame for the plate but would it be hard to fit? I had to drill two holes in the plastic for my last plate cause those sticky things never keep it on securely.

Any ideas peps? ;)

I screwed one of those chrome surround jobbies to mine then used velcro to stick the plates on so I can swap them for the show plates (front one is the same).

Never discoloured or fallen off :thumbsup:
