bringing MY thread back on topic! lol! :P :D

just got back from my first rolling road today! woo hoo!:

dyno1.jpg

dyno2.jpg

the results were (in case the charts don't turn out too well?):

BHP (wheels) = 141.7 bhp @ 6,427 rpm

BHP (engine) = 173.8 bhp @ 6,423 rpm (+19.8 Bhp from stock)

Torque = 145.7 lbf.ft @ 6,165 rpm (+5.7 lbf.ft from stock)

which i'm absolutely chuffed with - it was actually a little higher than i was expecting and it was running rich at the top end i.e. past 6,000 rpm.. not bad for a 15 year old engine lol! next plans are to get cams/cam gears and a Unichip...

here's a short video i took of the second run:

CLICKY

PS - goan the Teddy Bears! :yahoo::toast: ;)

Nice... but something doesn't add up... P reg, but Rev1/2 spoiler... and then you say not bad for a 15 year old car... which puts us at 2001... which puts us at H/J plate... which puts us back to Rev2... plus wouldn't need a Rev3 rear light upgrade on a P plate... so where's the P registered plate come in?! You blanked the reg plate from the front... but not the back which shows P reg.

Confused.

But very tidy, and good result on the RR.

thanks mate!

it's a revision 2 - i think i've mentioned this before.. it wasn't registered until 1997... hence the P plate.. i normally blank it out TBH because it's the one question most peeps ask and most of the time i can;t be bothered explaining! lol! :D

I see!

It does look lovely. This is the first car I've had, I think, that hasn't been white (apart from one of my 205 GTi's!).

You know what... on my log book it says 'first registered: 2000'... the car was imported for me in 2000 and is registered with the DVLA as new in 2000... does that mean I can get a private plate up to V reg?! Not trying to make it look newer... just gives me more possibilities with number/letter combinations.

i think so?.. not sure though.. might be worth checking! lol!..

i was actually after a white 2 with the blue interior which they only made in rev 1/2 anyway so i spent about 7 months looking.. couldn't believe my luck when this one turned up.. especially it being a P reg as my first names Paul.. unfortunately P4 ULL is already taken... :crybaby::crybaby: :D
