st165: well theres seems nothing for it, but to take the engine out to fix the water pipe.

so whats the best way to do it?

if any one knows the best way? please let me know!

ill have to hire a host so will have to be done in a day..lol

or if anybody knows how to fix the pipe without taking the engine out

that would be even better!!

Whoa.... Slow down dude. What water pipe are you on about??? You shouldn`t have to remove the engine for any of the water pipes on the 3S engines. :unsure:

ok if you look at the right side of the engine below were the heater pipes go into the (themostat) or where ever they go there is a 90 degree bend.. same size pipe .about 6in long.. not sure where it goes as its hard to see from top or bottom but its leaking from where it enters the block.

you have to put you arm half way down the back just to find it .

if any one as a manual or some pic of an engine out..?

water runs out even without the engine runing leaving a sad looking puddle.:(

to be fair some are a PITA. i know the one you are talking about and doing it in situ is a mare but is possible. however if you want to take the engine out and do some other bits while your at it, then out the top is the easiest way. you will have to rermove the six bolts that hole the worm drive to the rear of the box (connects to the prop shaft) and remove the worm drive itself, this pulls from the box once the bolts are removed. other than that its just like taking out any engine. you may want to change the clutch while its out too :thumbsup:
