quick tyre question?

Does anyone know what the is the widest tyre that will fit on a 7.5inch rim with out the tyres rubbing currently i am running 215/40ZR17 on my st202 and its been lowered 40mm

any help will be much appriacated :thumbsup:

The misses is on 225/45ZR17 and I'm on 225/45ZR16 at the moment no where near rubbing on either :thumbsup:

It's not just a case of tyre width though, you need to look at the wheel offset aswell as this will move the wheel futher inward or outward depend if it's different to stock.

sorry for taken so long to reply been abit busy the offset on my wheels is 35 mm what is the offset on ur misses car :thumbsup:
