Hi

I have a 1993 hiace 2.8D super custom limeted and have a few questions.

How do you change the headlight bulbs ?

Do the rear seats come out easly - and how do you do it ?

Has any one else changed the exhaust down pipe and had a problem with the first mount off of the engine not fitting with the new design joint that replaces the flexi pipe - if so how did you get over it ?

Has any one got any idea if jap imports come in with uk legal headlights mine have been adjusted quite low for some reason ?

Please help!

Thanks

Andy

:) Headlights if its the same as mine--- just inside the door pillar behind the indicator lens is a screw on both sides, once removed the indicator will come out by gently levering forward. This will reveal the screws for the front trim once these are removed the front trim can be gently levered from the top as the bottom is held by dreadful plastic poppers that break very easily. The headlight units can now be removed after unscrewing. Hope this helps

Thanks i'll try that My headlight bulbs are rubbish and badly need an upgrade.

Does any one know what the lever tucked under the side of the drivers seat next to the hand break is for?

Also does any one know if there is an easy way to get to the right side of the engine (need to get to the manafold)?

Thanks

Andy

:) Hi Andy to access the exhaust side you have to remove the panel that the drivers seat is on, its a bit of a palaver but not too fiddly. The lever you mention may be to revolve the drivers seat as fitted to some. To my knowledge nobody has found an ejector seat fitted yet so give the lever a good tug- go on you know you want to! Then let me know what happened

Cheers for that found the hatch under the seat but still not sure what the lever does - it does not seem to be attatched to anything - its just a bar hinged to the floor - the only thing i can think of is it might be for holding something up when you've got the pannel under the seat up.

thanks

Andy
