high there i have a 1999 yaris and on the motorway its making a wooing noise (sounds like) i need to put it in a garage just wondering if any you guys had any ideas

i have this problem too. i think it might be this wind noise. but i cant find the topic on here which shows how to fix it

its either the wind noise, or suumot to do with your brakes

yeah thought that but as soon as you drop to about 58 it disappears

Could be the famous Yaris door mirror whistling....................(or you have got a ghost.......Wooo ;) :lol: )

You could try a search for whistling mirrors...............a Toyota Service Bulletin covers this :thumbsup:

I had a similar experience especialy on windy days.i noticed that the noise was coming from the ridge (where the lagguage bars are fitted)

The Yaris door mirrors are famous for making a whistling noise on French built models, the Jap build models are different and don't make the noise , probably worth checking out first. Kingo
