Hi Guys :)

My Verso has just been in for its recall regarding the passenger airbag switch -- in the past i have always hated taking any car i've had to the garage - they come back dirty, or patchy dirty (you know, where the grunts clean off patches of dirt, so the car looks like some sort of refugee) usually with another scratch or ding on it somewhere.... well although i've now done 36K in my verso its only been in the garage 3 times and that was for the scheduled servicing :) Now as a prior Renault Laguna II driver this is unheard of, trust me :ffs:

So imagine my surprise when going to pickup my car after the new ECU had been fitted to discover it Valeted inside & out (a proper job mind, waxed, windows cleaned hoovered etc etc) £10 of diesel put in it (to cover any mileage i may have had to travel to get to the garage) and a BIG box of Thorntons Continental with an apology for having to bring my car in, in the first place and a thank you for "allowing Toyota to correct their error"....

I was flabbergasted - at Renault, there are so many recalls they don't bother to call you in the first place, they just do the recall next time your car is in the garage, which is regularly -- they never even said "sorry" when the things imobiliser locked me out of my own car 180 miles from home....

So I say "BIG UP" to John Roes Toyota - Grimsby - I'll be buying another one guys

Good Lord !! That's exceptional ! I took mine into Pentagon in Rotherham last week and got absolutely zilch !

Got mine done in Newpot, South Wales and got a bottle of champers, proper stuff as well
