I've got a 1.0l Yaris produced in August 2001. According to the Haynes Service and Repair Manual for the Yaris, cars produced from 2001/06 and on (my car) are supposed to be equipped with Bosch FR7KCU (0.9 - 1.0mm gap) or Denso K20R-U11 (1.0 - 1.1mm gap). The cars produced before 2001/06 are supposed to be equipped with NGK BKR5EYA or Denso K16R-U (0.8mm gap).

NGK BKR5EYA spark plugs are supposed to be used according to my Toyota Owners Manual.

I checked my engine and found NGK BKR5EYA. Is this right?

Thanks! Seems like I got the right spark plugs after all. The old ones were really worn and I noticed difference when I changed them. The engine runs smoother and it shouldn't suprise me if the MPG is slightly improved.
