Water Bi-pass Pipes

st165: hi guys im still having problems... so i ask.. can you take out the water bi pass pipes without taking the engine out..? as its leaking on the rubber bend. ive been told it will be 250 pounds to repair just the bend as they have to take off the inlet manifold. to get to the pipe. any help would be gladly received. thanks
