Was Corolla Saloon Affected By Safety Steering Recall

There's a post on here about it ..... I listed all the chassey numbers.

I think I found the info through google on the DVLA site for recalls.

I'd be interested in learning more about this -I've got a 55 Corolla 5d hatchack. I assume that, being a safty related recall, the dealer would have contacted me if my car was affected or am I being over confident

According to the info on Dave's thread, you'll be safe, as the Corollas affected were before '04. Besides, you'd have got a letter via registered post. I've got a 55 plate 'Rolla, and I've had no letter, so you haven't missed it :)

You might need to do a new search for Corolla, but it's listed on there with all the details such as VIN numbers etc !
