New Corolla Grille

Hello all...

Thinking about getting a brand new 2.0l diesel corolla sr but a few things are stopping me mainly having to Shell out for an alarm...and that new facelift grille they have on this car......is it possible to put put the pre-face lift grill back on the car...does anyone know if its just a quick unbolt and bolton job....or not possible ??? thx

I think that the grille is one piece with the front bumper and you cant just replace the front bumper cause you should try changing the front headlights too,cause they fit only with the facelift bumper.So if you feel ,like doing it...you should get too many parts and change lots of things on a new car....should you???

The grille on the facelift E12 is part of the front bumper so you won't just be able to replace the grille. The good news is that looking at the TTE website, they do make an E12 facelift front bumper which appears to have a grille similar to the pre-facelift E12. So that might be the route you would have to travel. Have a word with your dealer when you are working out the prices etc and try and get a bit extra off to cover a new front bumper from TTE sprayed and fitted :)
