Hi! New Celica Owner Here!

Hello!

I picked up my Celica today from the Toyota dealer in Bath and took these pics at a cafe on the way home. The owner of the cafe just happened to have one as well, so I parked next to it :)

I'm not sure whether to get some headlight eyelids or not - has anyone had any experience with them? Do they have a negative effect on the brightness of the headlights themselves?

Also, is there a guide somewhere to replacing the door Speakers?

Hello and welcome! Good choice of motor matey!

There are guides kicking around on the internet for the door Speakers, but its basically take of door covering by undo-ing all the screws in the door plastic (some are tricky to find, so be careful), remove the plastic film, swap your Speakers (you'll need some new brackets made up to mount them on - either proper plastic ones, or a bit of handy work with MDF will do!), plug 'em in, and undo all the removals you did a little while ago! While you're there you might want to think about acoustic dampening as well...

Personally, I don't like eye-lids on the G7. But as with all cosmetics, its all down to personal taste. I don't think they cover any part of the light housing that would affect the beam, so you shouldn't see any difference in brightness what-so-ever.

I have the eye lids on my T Sport and they do not effect the light beam, I also have a set of orginal ones in silver that came off my 140, pm me if your interested.
