Styling A T180

Well guys we`ve had the t180 a good 5 months now and i`m a bit fed up with the "front look"--essentially the lights are too big, and given that i like !Removed! with BMW drivers, it needs to look like it has 180 (ahem)bhp.....

anybody done any CONSERVATIVE yet stylish mods, or is that strictly chav nova land??? :D

i`ve removed most of the completely over the top toyota badges, so that it just has the t180 Badge on the back; it now looks less than a marketing campaign on wheels

as for the fuel consumption, apparently it has the same engine as the lexus is220d, and they also have consumption problems where some had the 5th injector changed.

however you should note that diesels do not gat the same economy driving in town on days like today as they would in summer driving on the motorway--that is when they become far better than petrol cars!

as for the fuel gauge, well we know it lasts for about 2 weeks, so thats when we fill it up.....

although i am daring myself to whack the chipfat in there from the deep fat fryer, just to see if it does work a la 5th gear!

still love the car, and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad we didn`t get the S-Max, 'cos we`ve not had one problem/thing break yet

oh, we always end up wheel spinning in first in mk roundabouts as we`ve got used to blipping the revs just to conquer that real slowness at below 30---also we can`t use 5 or 6 gear at those speeds cos the gearing is well off.

however that speed kick in is good when it does get going and it does catch people out heh heh

i've added a cheaky rear spoiler that makes ours stand out from the rest....but like you, i'm trying to source front end mods.....let me know if you find any and i'll do the same for you

If you very brave, you could have ago at making a new headlight unit, or creating light masks using Glass Fibre!!!

got mine on eBay from a company in poland, sprayed in car colour & posted, all for £105

or you can get the same one from Toyota, sprayed and fitted for £400!
