I got quoted the same over the phone but went down there and it only cost me £3 inc vat, they changed just the blade not the whole arm.

I asked a while ago and my dealer wanted about £40,

So I bought a 14" wiper blade for £3 and cut it down

I had to laugh too... I wanted a new rear exhaust mount (2" of rubber) which I got from my local shop for £1.52. The reason I didn't get it from Mr.T? £11.78. Ha!

Ditto that, went into my local Mr T's and it cost just over 3 quid to have the rubber changed. Bloke popped out from the workshop, and said "ah yes, that's the easy one to change", went to get a new rubber, and changed it in about a minute.

i went to get clear indicators for my starlet from mr t ages ago and they wanted £75 a side!!!!!!went down with some part numbers and got them for £4.50 each lol result

Rear wiper rubber £3.77 which included fitting and VAT! Good as new. Wow what a difference especially in this mucky weather. Now I can see where I’ve been.

Don’t get fooled into spending more than you need. All the rear assembly is plastic so it’s only the rubber that perishes

That's a ridiculous price for the whole arm. The one on my old 1 litre was about £6-8, I think. Certainly under a tenner.
