Idle Speed Control Valve

Having problems with hesitant engine when the engine warm and at low revs, took it to a garage and they reakon it could be a sticky idle control valve. they recommed removing valve and cleaning in an ultrasonic tank

I want to remove it as they are quoting the wrong side of £100

Not sure where it is or what it looks like so if anyone can send me in the right direction that would be a great help, a pic would be even better :thumbsup:

hello it will be in the inlet mainfold and will have a plug going to it!

youll need to remove the throttle body to get it off. if you look under the throttle cable where it connects to the throttle lever, youll see a grey plug with three wires, thats the ISC valve plug

How do we get to know that it is truely the ISC Valve faulty? Will other impairment cause hike of RPM?
