Hi Sorry havent posted much since my first one, but car is going in for 10,000 service (after 6 months..lol) I was reading some other post further down talking about charges, I am sure my car came with three years free servicing but am i likely to pay on top ie if they do anywork? what do they do at a service anyway, is that a really dense question sorry my first car. Also if anyones interested my toyota dealer emailed me all the pictures of whats available for the AYGO ART, I dont know how to post pics here but could email them to someone who could? they are very cool, might get it done in new year. Was well impressed with service at dealer as I popped in to book service and just ask the chap who sold me it if he knew anything about it said he would find out for me and let me know, next day there was an email, didnt even know they had my email address...lol Also decided I need to move house have bumped car twice now trying to park in stupid street and now have my first dent :crybaby: or maybe i should getting parking lessons, anyway sorry have ranted on with loads of q's

Sarah

Really?

I thought you only got 3 years of warranty

on materials and production errors...

As mileage will vary per person they'd have people doing 40.000mi/year

come in every 3 months and people (like me) who only drive about

12.500mi/year would only be in every 9 months or so...

With the prices of the Aygo being as they are I seriously

doubt your services for the first three year to be free.

Interested to see the Aygo art stuff . . .

When buying new in the UK you can specify a service plan - it's not free though !

2 products are currently available and are 3 years or 30 000 miles £279 and 5 years or 50 000 miles £529.

maybe it was worked into what I am paying, but when i booked it I said to chap could I have winer check also and he said yes of course and he wouldnt charge me for that just the service so I said I thought the service was free cos I bought new car and he said oh yeah you have an aygo it is free! Maybe I should go back and check though dont want a shock bill this close to christmas..lol.

Most car dealers give free winter checks for "their own" brand nowadays.

And "surprisingly" they'll allmost allways find

something wrong and you end up paying anyway...

I had an MOT once where they had put screenwash on the bill,

even though I had filed that up myself before I took the car in...

OK Found it all out today, I have not lost the plot because my car did come with three years free servicing, its written on my paperwork and I checked with the lass on the phone who said yes they did an offer at a certain time period when buying an Aygo, but she couldnt remember if it was a toyota offer or a listers (dealer) offer!

On the other hand I am a complete thicko because as I was trying to work out how I managed to rack up 4,000 miles in a month yet hadnt been anywhere, I looked a little closer at the counter and it had a point after it ie 1,1156.9 (not 11,4569) and had " trip" above it!! Having never pressed the trip button before I have now banned my soon to be ex other :ffs: half for touching anything in my car in the one and only and last time I let him drive it on the way to the MPH06 Show and subsequently making me look really stupid, (and why is the main counter not done with a point also??) Anyway needless to say I have now cancelled my service through an embarresing telephone call.

Sarah ;)

haha they did something like that with me ... but with oil, they said i put a too wide of band in ... i put 10-50W in stead of 15-40W in my diesel but i was told 10-50 is better for the engine, i cant wait till i finish my college course show them what a mechanic is
