Celica Gt4 Misfire

First time in the forum, wondered if anyone could help?

Brought a 92 Celica GT4 about two weeks ago. Such a cool car.

Knew it had a misfire, so changed the dizzy cap, rota arm, leads and sparks. The misfire is definitely not as bad as before replacing, but still there when I accelerate. Have got a new fuel filter on order and also a cold start ignition switch, (noticed that the old one looked in bad shape!). Hoping this will cure problem.

Is there anything else that I potentially need to be checking? Have checked for fault codes and don't have any, engine light has also not come on. Boosting at 10psi.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hey mate welcome to the club, Dak is the resident ST185 bod but i'll try and help in his absence

Get the new fuel filter on you'll probably find that helps a bit, also what spark plugs have you got they should be gapped to 0.8mm

Also which 185 have you got the one with the big scoop in the centre of the bonnet and ATA intercooler or the more prestegious RC/CS which has a mesh vent above the turbo and a chargecooler like on the ST205.

Cheers Sketchy, will have a check of the spark plugs tonight. I have the big scoop version, with the ATA intercooler. It has the Castrol RC decals on it. Looks awsome :D
