I need some help, advise on how to remove the interior driver side door panel

to investigate a window wind down problem.

2/3 the way down there is a glass on metal sound which concerns me....

Being the time of year I can ill afford dealership labour charges!

I am a reasonably competent person but need a pointer in right direction.

Many thanks for reading

Peter

Can't help you with getting the door card off but does sound like a window motor issue...

As a comparison Mr T quoted me over £230 a couple of years ago to replace, Toyot Celica Breakers and a helpful member helped me fix it for £45..

It's fairly simple to remove the door cards ..... first pop off the electric window controller, then pull off the fabric cut out and there is some more screws there, all the rest is obvious TBH.

Simple job  !

There is one screw behind the door opener. Its behind a flap. There is another under the rubber bit where you pull the door shut. Then start at one bottom corner and pull gently along bottom then sides. When loose lift upwards. Oh if you have a small speaker up by the window pull the cover off first.
