Avensis Colour Colection

Hello everyone.

My brother in law is thinking of upgrading his Avensis SR to a new one. He's looking at a 2006 Colour Collection (pre facelift) 2.0 D4D.

Can anyone give me an idea of the spec, as this is special edition, and all the website info is the new facelift model.

He says it doesn't have sat nav, arm rest, alloys or front fogs, so I think it must be a T2 spec with some extra bits.

Have a look over at www.parkers.co.uk, search for toyota avensis and somewhere you will find a list of all new (03 onwards) avensis. The "older" colour collection diesel is there and it gives a spec sheet.

Otherwise, your local helpful toyota dealer may have an old brochure lying around you you to look at.

You get 16" steels, single CD player (good sound though), manual seats, no sat nav, 114bhp, no front fogs, and you get a non solid colour and about 1K off the original price. Oh, and it's five gears not six like the latest one.

Bascially, a CC is a T2 with a non-solid colour for free and money off.
