Tomorrow my e11 goes into the bodyshop (well it's being picked up).

Damage estimated at £1,000 I have to pay £250 myself.

Work (according to estimate)

Replace leftside front wing,

Repair/replace nose piece (the bit that the headlights are cut out from and the grille)

Repair/replace leftside indicator and headlight (if required)

Replace front plastic bumper,

Repair/replace front skirt,

Replace passenger side wing mirror.

Repair any paint blemishes on left side.

Full MOT and any required additional work.

Estimated return of car 29th December 06.

Can't wait to have her back good as new! And it will be nice to finally conclude this whole episode, which among other things saw;

Contacting owner of vehicle hit,

Reporting incident to my insurers,

Collecting estimates for repairs,

Reporting estimates to insurers,

Contacting toyota dealership (it is they who I got the estimate from)

Taking the rolla down to be asessed, then waiting for toyota to send info to bodyshop and await reply.

Contact insurers (again) for approval of repairs, and then waiting for the bodyshop to recieve the go ahead.

Getting confirmation from insurers and then contacting bodyshop only to discover the insurers hadn't yet confirmed consent with them (though they had told me)

Waiting for insurers to finally contact bodyshop and them me.

Booking in a pickup date for the blasted thing and organising hire car.

Getting insurance for said hire/courtesy car.

Whew!

All that for nudging a parked car!
