Hi all,

I want to get some replacement Speakers for my girlfriends toyota yaris (2004 3 door 1.0) I want to get door Speakers replaced can anyone recommend some or let me know what size speaker will fit in the door?

She likes her music quite bassy!

Thanks

17cm will fit the doors with autoleads adapters. I reccomend buying them as you get a plug and play adapter for your aftermarket Speakers to make fitment even easier! Also you will find most 17cm Speakers aren't bassy enough but i find buying components rather then coaxials should help bass production. Best bet is to buy a sub (underseat or boot jobby) or/and some 6*9s!

This has been discussed in detail many times so just do a quick search

Thanks - not sure she would have components fitted - are they difficult and do you have to damage / alter the interior?

I like the look of these Infinity 6512SI Speakers any thoughts on these anyone?

They are more difficult yeah! Tbh i would say coaxials and then add a sub! Much better plan and with something like a FLI 10" active box you can fit that in sideways with the seats forward to give you still enough bootspace for most things whilst adding more then enough bass (controllable) If she's a girly girl they do them in pink also now :P

I fitted some infinity 6512si's a couple of months back. Am happy with them but could do with a sub really. They are easy to fit with the autoleads adaptor and require no further spacing.

Forgot to mention that I have changed my head unit aswell. If you still have the standard fitted I'm not sure how they will sound. My head unit is a Sony which maybe wasn't the best choice but its certainly a hell of a lot better than the original.
