I thought goodridge ss brake lines were supposed to be good, one of mine broke earlier and it's left me with no car over xmas now. I hope these things come with a guarantee as i'm not paying £70 for another set.

Only problem now is no one is open as it's so close to xmas, just hope I can find someone who can refit the standard rubber hoses for now.

I've heard of that happening to Goodridge ones as well...disturbing when you think about it

When I had these from envy they said they fitted a supra on the box, anyone know which one as it will be easier to buy raplacements, as change all the hoses back to standard.

all I need is a part code and which car they are from.

according to what i've read, and if you look in the envy forum it says envy and goodridge have been working together to develop lines for the yaris, so that means the yaris lines have got to be a mix of 2 sets.

But i'm pretty sure my box said supra fitment, although they have fitted the yaris fine, I don't have the box anymore to check, as I may have to go to tweeks for some replacements as envy don't open till 3rd of Jan

Anyone know how bad of an idea it is to mix the front s/s lines with back rubber ones, as this is all I can do for now, and it does say not to mix the steel and rubber one's in the goodridge book.

No, it doesn't mean they have to be a mix of 2 sets, it means they have made some specific for the yaris. TBH I can't see how supra ones would fit a Yaris.

As Ross said. They'll be custom made for the Yaris.

Goodridge have been in the business for years, making lines for cars and bikes.

I'm pretty sure they've got a good warranty on them should anything go wrong. Who fitted them, and where abouts is the problem? Is it a split line, cracked fitting, etc?

*Edit. According to the "Stainless v Rubber" report on their site, their hoses are guaranteed for life of vehicle, usually stated as 150k miles.

the split is right on the joint.

i've got my 2 back rubber hoses on, and bled the system, so i've at least got some stopping power, just hope envy have got some for replacements come 3rd Jan.

got my replacements today

Does anyone have or can someone please take a pic of what they have done with their rear brake hose, as it's too big to do anything with, and i'm just looking for a good position to pu it in so it doesn't catch on anything.

The other set was the wrong one, but the rear hoses were much smaller in length and would have fitted better than the newer ones.
