European Toyota Vin Interpretation

Am trying to find an explantion of a EUROPEAN Toyota VIN code interpretation for a new Corolla. Cannot find any on the net through Google. There are plenty of US interpretations around but not RECENT European. Can anyone help me with a link please :)

I can't remember exactly what each number and letter means but It's something roughly along the lines of:

1st three letters are the manufacturing location

4th Letter is the body style

5th Letter is the engine type

After that I'm seriously fuzzy but I think it's gearbox and left/right hand drive type with the last 7~8 digits being a sequentially derived serial number.
