2001 Previa Check Engine Codes

My check engine comes on intermittantly, then goes away after 20 or so miles!

Just recently, with the cold weather, its becoming increasingly difficult to get the car to start.

The last few days have required jump starting, even then it takes an average of 30 mins!

I've replaced the Battery and plugs. The car turns over ok, and comes close to starting, but seems to not quite get there.

Can I check the engine light codes myself? & if so, where?!

Compare the cost of those with the cost of asking your dealer to plug in their computer! :censor:

I havn't got one yet but I'll probably buy one soon..

Anyone out there tried them? Are they any good?
