hey guys just put the gen 6 in for mot and it has failed on lamda sensor, after scoping through eBay i have seem to notice that the 4afe lamda and 3sge lamda are the same is this true???

can i juct clean the lamda up???

am i losing performance with this being gone????

also is my gen 6 a superstrut model??? its a 94 M uk registered i seem to have a knocking noise from the back when i go over a pothole any ideas???

has anyone got a spare lamda for sale?

Not too sure about the Lambda but it would almost certainly result in a loss of power/economy. There are loads of threads on here regarding sensors, just run a search.

Your model does not have superstrut suspension, the only UK model to have it was the GT-Four. The knocking is highly likely to be the rear anti-roll bar bushes. Sounds expensive but I did mine for nothing in 15 minutes. The genuine Toyota parts cost around £10 I think for both sides. I wrapped a tiny piece of bicycle inner tube round the bar instead of a new bush. Worked perfectly. Just don't make the stupid mistake I made and undo the bolts with the suspension uncompressed (ie. wheels off the ground)
