Yaris Gear Stick

The knob on the gearstick of my manual 2006 Yaris T3 1300 is getting very loose. It's possible to rotate it easily, which can sometimes interfere with changing gear. It isn't obvious how it is fixed to the gearstick or what I need to do to tighten it. Can anyone tell me please?

Screw it like a screw, clockwise, I think that should do the trick. I don't know on the Phase 3 Yarises, but on the Phase 2 it should work like that.

should just twist, the other yarii gearknobs do.

2006 car? If it will not tighten up then use your Toyota warranty and ask the dealer to sort it out.

They do screw on clockwise on the new Yaris, just like Eirik said

I never thought of the simple solution! Thanks all, 1 turn clockwise and it's nice and tight.
