Corolla Fuel Filter Change

Hi all,

Where's the fuel filter on a Corolla E12 D4D 2.0 diesel?

Is it easy to change?

i think its just down behind the air filter, just need to disconnect 2 pipes, undo 2 bolts and disconnect a plug and the whole unit will come out, then put it in a bench vice and you can unscrew the small plastic bit on the bottom and the filter itself, i would use a large pair of water pump pliers, and usually loosen them both first then undo and remove them ofver a fuel bucket so as not to make to much mess, then when you put the new filter on make sure you change the o-ring, and when you have put it back on the car, pump the black primer on the top of the unit to get air out of the fuel pipes
