We have done 2 you need to bugdet for around 800 for someone who has done it before to provide parts and fit them.

I've had this done on my 93 GT-R...

had to replace the engine, and it came out of an auto...only difference is the the flywheel, otherwise it bolts together exactly the same...I've had no problems with mine at all, so far

We have the opposite. We have the ST183 Cabriolet with the GT4 engine but still runnin the autobox.Would be interested in finding out how much it would cost to go to a manual conversion. Im assuming we need an MR2 gearbox. What other parts are needed like driveshafts etc?

im just about to do the same for the 2nd time,was easy enough first time around

I cheated, I took mine to a garage to have done...had a heart attack when I saw the bill though £1100 for fitting, but the engine only cost me £250 from a local jap breakers
