Noise From My Head Unit

all of a sudden getting like a whistling noise from stereo when rev engine wonder if i need to fit a suppressor or somethig i have one but no idea where to connect it to ( supposed fit on alternator) help please :D

hey , is it aftermarket ? even so check no bare cables rubbing and its earthed / grounded ok ?

Yeah sounds like you've got interference from somewhere, as said, check all your wireing!

Have you got an amp fitted at all??

mate of mine told me this noise was your headunit interfering with your alternator need a supressor as far as i no couple of quid?

yep it the em field produced by the alternator. i have this problem in my old mr2, but if all goes to plan i should be swapping it for a yaris of some sort, either a brand new D4d or a 2005 Tsport.
