Calipers

Hi is there anyone who can tell me how to get the top pin or bolt, off of the front caliper on my ST185.

do you mean to get the caliper of its mounting?

i recently changed the discs on my 185 and to get the caliper off just used normal socket set canit remember the size but i remember it being extremely tight so just spray it with WD40 or sumthing similar leave it for a bit then unscrew with the strength of a bear

It's 12mm iirc. Use a good quality 3/8 6 sided or flank drive socket with a 18 inch breaker bar. Makes life so much easier. When you do them back up don't over tighten them. Use a torque wrench.

ok thanks guys the caliper moves up and down but not side to side think its ceased.
