Tyre Wear Granvia / Regius

Hi

I've been trying to buy a Regius or Granvia but the ones I've been looking at appear to have a tyre wear problem - ripping the edge off the fronts.

Is this normal or a suspension / steering problem? Can it be cured or helped by changing the wheels and tyres for a commercial size and grade?

The Hiace Custom doesn't seem to suffer the same problem, would it be a better option?

Thanks in advance for any info and a very happy new year from downunder.

Mine also wears on the near side. I have had it aligned, but still it wears!

Have you found out anything more, did you fit commerical tyres? :(

hello there,

Just to say I've owned a " Granvia " 3.0 TD for the last 15 months and to be honest I never experienced such a problem.

I never replaced the tyres yet!

The only thing I can imagine is the Granvias you've seen had a bad tyre wear!

I have to say My "Granvia" is the best car I ever had.

for any further question... please get back to me.

I'm in Blackpool , Lancs by the way.

I have a Granvia, rear wheel drive and had the same problem. There were two faults. Top ball joint and bad tracking. Had them fixed and front tyre wear is normal and no scrubbing.

My problem is a knocking when on full lock either left or right. Have been told "they all do it"! Antbody else got this problem or can help with diagnosis.

Thanks in advance.

Hi I can't say I have had a tyre-wear problem (yet!) either, however I would love to know what my trye pressure should be!! Be really grateful if any one can let me know - I have a 2wd 3.0 Diesel and we love it!!

Thanks
