Cherished Numbers

hi,

Not strictly a Celica question, though it could be as I can put the Celica on the road once I have this sorted.

I have an Escort whose MOT is about to run out.

It has a possible interesting plate ending in MKE (mike).

Is it possible to keep the number to sell on if the car is scrapped.

Or would I have to sell the car with the number.

cheers

I think you can put the plate on retention. Costs £80 iirc. Details are on the DVLA website somewhere.
