Newbie Help Pls (fitting A Hardtop)

Hi, Newbie here looking for a bit of help!! :help:

I am the proud owner of a MR2 Roadster '03 plate but currently without the "luxury" of a hardtop. The Q is can I fit a 2nd hand hardtop to it? It was manufactured without the hardtop option and I am just a bit concerned that perhaps all the correct fitting points will not be present.

Also, if it is possible what problems am I likely to encounter?

I am just looking for a little peace of mind before parting with me hard earned pennies!!

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

Cheers,

Woodster

Hi Woodster and welcome to the club

Aftermarket hard tops were discussed recently in THIS topic, it should answer some of your questions, if not just ask away and we will try to help.

Based on all that great info I will now think seriously about one, although hopefully I won't need it until next winter B)

Hi,

Thanks for the link. It has certainly helped me piece together the picture installation on the link Les provided and filled in a few more gaps.

If (no when) I go down the hardtop road this info will be invaluable and I will post some pic's.

Again many thanks for the link and for making me welcome. :D

cheers,

woodster
