No Blower On Landcruiser 70

My dad drives a Landcruiser 70, one of those big ones:

I don't know the exact type reference...

Yesterday the interior blower/heater stopped blowing...

I checked the fuses, but they're all fine, including the

30A larger block-like fuse that's in the fuse panel

next to the clutch (it's a LHD as we're Dutch).

I also checked the plugs to the motor and the resistor pack,

they're all seated like they should be, bu there's no power to them.

When I turn on the ignition and turn the knob from "off" to "1"

I DO hear a relay click under the dash/binnacle, but nothing more.

Can anyone tell me where I should look now?

Or where I can find a wiring diagram for this car?

This couldn't have come at a worse time, as the weather's very rainy

and damp and there's no way of defogging the windshield now :-(

It may be the resistor pack which is basically 3 reistors that get switched to give you the diffrent fan speeds. Not sure were they are on the lancrusier. But on a Hilux Pickup they are mounted on the fan or just in the air duct next to the fan as they get quite hot.

Normally when they go you will normally get at least one fan speed but the whole pack may have blown.

Thanks for your reply, the resistor pack is next to the fan,

so it can be cooled; these resistors get VERY hot VERY quick...

Normally when the pack goes you loose one speed or at least keep

the highest speed; this usually bypasses the resistors completely.

I didn't have any tool swith me when I was at my parents' yesterday

and it's abit far to drive to just to do some measurements :?

Still cann't grasp why he didn't call me so I could

bring my tools; he knew I was coming over anyway...

I guess it's off to the dealer then; my dad really needs his car

for work; the trailer you see in the picture above is used to

transport shippingcontainers when the hood is removed and

he has to deliver two 10' ones monday afternoon...
