The Mrs is trading in her beetle against a V5 Golf, 2.3ltr petrol. 3dr.

The car looks VERY nice tbh, alloy wheels, leather interior. Practically mint condition.

Anyone any experiance of these wee motors? Should be reasonably nippy, being a 2.3??

Has alot more space than the beetle anyway.

My Golf is the 1.9 GT TDI & it's rapid, I love it, I'd have probably got the V5 if insurance wasn't an issue but as it is I'm more than happy. I was used to a 1.0 Yaris though :!Removed!:

more than a supra??.... lol

Well I took it for a test drive and it did seem quite rapid. Nothing campared to the Supra obviously, but decent enough.

So......... she bought it! :)

Pick it up next Wednesday as they need to sort out a few bits and bobs.

Good decision, I'm sure she'll love it. Has she drove it in the dark yet? The dash looks immense when you put the lights on
