Do Toyota Monitor These Forums

I do not know if this question has been asked before but do Toyota monitor these forums if not they should as they could learn a lot about there customer base.

I know these type of forums you can tend to hear just when things go wrong but this forum is quite balanced as you hear good and bad things but what is interesting you seem to be getting more posts complaining about the arrogance of Toyota GB customer services .

As with any mechanical device things can go wrong but to me myself it is more important when this does happen you are treated fairly and with respect .

I have no complaint with my dealer they are excellent

So if you reading this Toyota buck your ideas up regarding customer service as the success of Toyota has been achieved because there customer service was second to none

I don't think Toyota success is built on customer service - I think it's built on reliability of product.

Whilst i wouldn't wish to generalise it does seem that the majority on here find customer service poor and there is a (worrying) growing trend of reliability issues (esp in Avensis models).

I don't think Toyota monitor the forum although there PR guy does pop in now and then (user name Toyota PR funnily enough).

Yes you are quite right the reliability of there products have also been a contributory factor in there success and after owning Carina's ,old shape Avensis and new shape avensis the reliability has gone downwards but the strange thing is you know exactly what faults will occur ie Oil consumption issues, faulty light bulb holders, stiff rear tail struts , faulty steering rack problems ( I had 5 racks in total) ,sensor problems.

I changed my car recently and the only reason I bought another Toyota was the fact I have a very good dealer .

There is a thread running on the MPV forum regarding the mmt gearbox its sounds horrific
