Steering Wheel Not Parking It'self Anymore

Hi Guys,

I tried to find this out for myself, and found a Celica JUST like mine in colour, but was a GTi, Not a 4WS GTR (Bugger could have done with backup rear wheel steering stuff).

Other than the steering stuff I was after 2 things, a Aircon Condensor... No luck, pinched already... A Look at why my steering column is not parking it'self any more... The steering column on the scrap car was on the floor, with a few bits chopped out at the connector blocks, so taught me nowt.

Has anyone got any Idea why my steering wheel will not park any more.

I'm not 100% sure, (Cos I'm old and forgetful ) But I think Rich AKA Boro Sera had a fiddle with this on Ash's car. I could be wrong though, in which case..... Sorreee. :D

I never got round to it before the car 'expired' .

The control unit is probably the place to start pointing fingers. This is a blue box clipped to the under-dash beam. Take the Glove box out ( 2 screws at the hinge IIRC) and it's behind there.
