Just received an email from Club Toyota.

Renew your Club Toyota membership for just £55

Dear Mr Jones

Your Club Toyota membership is due for renewal on 03 November 2007.

November? Short of cash, are they, I thought?

Then it dawned on me. I bought the car in March 2005 so shouldn't I renew each March? I checked my membership card. Sure enough, my membership expires on 3rd March 2007.

For me, it's the RAC Roadside Assistance (not that I've ever had to use it so far!)

it was the RAC that bought me & my car home after an accident... The AA will charge you. RAC didn't...

Shouldnt all break down people take you home as thats what they are paid for....?

Some tend to charge you extra for retrieving a car from an accident. The AA do. But RAC never!!

Yesterday we sent you an email letting you know your Club Toyota membership renewal date is approaching. Unfortunately, due to a computer error, the date we gave you was incorrect. We would like to apologise for any confusion caused and give you the correct date for your renewal which is 11 March 2007.

Maybe they read it on here! ;)

Notice how it was the computer that made the error.

From my current job, I can catagorically guarantee that its always the computers fault.... even when its not....

Lets face it, when is my works laptop going to say otherwise?
