Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get the best deal on one of these

I know I can order from my dealer but wondered if there was anywhere likely to offer discount.

Thanks Rob

Costs for spraying and fitting would also be appreciated so we get an overall cost :)

If its anything like the dynamic lip spoiler and skirts I got for my celica before I paid £150 for them to be spayed and then fitted myself. I would expect to pay £50-£75 for spraying the lip spoiler.

This was the end result on the celica

Update

Got the lip spoiler, it was delivered in 4 days from Poland

It is obviously a direct copy of the TTE one as you can even see where the Badge would have been when the mould was done and it has all the Toyota part numbers etc.

It did however need quite a bit of finishing before it could be painted which put the cost up to £160 to prepare and spray it.

Prep and spraying done by http://www.a1spraytech.co.uk/index.html

Fitted it today which took about 1/2 hr and am very pleased with the end result

Also fitted a set of alloy pedals to go with the full leather interior I also managed to pick up.

Next stop.......ICE and car phone kit

Btw how easy was it to remove the old front lip and replace it with this one? I ask as I wasn't very impressed with how easy Toyota have made it to change a headlight bulb but I'm hoping it's an exception.

Very easy. Original black plastic is in two halves. Looking at the under side it is held on by 7 (i think) 10mm nut head self tappers. Unscrew them and trim comes off by pulling forward. Once it is off you can see several lips along lower edge of bumper.

The spoiler I got required the mounting tabs x 7 to be drilled for the screws to go through. The black plastic trim fits inside the new spoiler to aid you to mark where to drill. After drilling the new spoiler simply pushes back into the ridges and then the 7 screws fitted from underneath. I found it was easiest to jack the car up for better access but then I am a big bloke!

Thinking back I should have done step by step pics, but I thought as a newbie it was something that loads of you would have done before so didn't bother.

Hope this makes sense. Have a look yourself from underneath the car. Fitting time from start to finish 1/2 hr.

Glad you like it so far. What does the TTE Grill look like, had a look at the website but pic isn't very clear.

Any recommendations for price or where to source it

Didn't get the footrest with the pedals and it wasn't mentioned in the ad. Is it part of the set or seperate part. How much was it?..

Cheers Rob

Installed an Alpine CDA 9854R and nokia car kit on leather console today. Next step is the Infinity Speakers, Alpine amp for the doors and Infinity Basslink which are next to be installed. Also waiting for an interface lead Ive ordered from the states to link the Alpine to the steering wheel contols.

Here's a pic taken from a thread by jbtsport from a fair few months back showing the TTE grille. It's definitely something I'd love to have. And as for where you can get it, I have never seen one of these being sold anywhere apart from Mr T or sourcing it direct from Germany.

Very nice. :toast: I can see this is going to get expensive  and there I was thinking moving from this

P1010001Small.jpg

to a T Sport would save money!!!

Think I might PM Chris.S who posted earlier as he seems to be able to do good prices on TTE stuff

Are those wheels 17" or 18"?

Rob

Wrong on both counts! Can you believe they are 19s?

And I was also thinking of contacting Chris about the front grille. I know they aren't cheap, but as you said, he seems to be able to get them cheaper than retail.
