Hi

Recently I have noticed a noise coming from the rear of the car when i am driving over uneven ground. This is a sort of cross betwen a grinding and a knocking sound. Is it bushes or problems with wheel bearings or something else? My avensis was purchased in Jan 2005. I look forward to any responses.

If its a 05 i suggest you take it to your local authorized toyota garage and get it sorted. I would bet my money on a busted wishbone.

i have exactly the same problem in my 02 avensis
