Mp3 Fm Tuner...help!

Hi all

I recently bought a FM Tuner for use with my portable mp3 player (If anyone is unfamiliar with these things, you connect them to your mp3 player and they broadcast your music at a particular FM frequency which your car radio then picks up).

Problem is, my corolla radio seems to retune to another radio frequency after about 30seconds as it maybe doesn't consider the frequency strong enough!!?

for example if i set the FM tuner to broadcast at 87.5FM, the radio picks it up for a while but then overrrides it and finds another actual radio station at 88.1FM. annoying!

Is there a way of turning off the radio's 'auto tune' mode so that i can stop it retuning when i'm listening to the mp3 player??

Hi pmorrow555,

I don't have any problems with my stero re-tunning itself while listening to an FM MP3, are you sure you haven't nocked any of the buttons by accident (PTY, etc), you should see on ur display if any of these options are on. Apart from that I don't have any other suggestions.
