Thanks for the reply, got a few bids going on eBay. Just a few more questions; How long would the car Battery last if i left a electric cool box left plugged in the cigarette lighter with the engine switched off? Am also interested in upgrading the radio/CD player for the one with sat-nav built in, are they interchangable and is the GPS receiver built in? Is it any good or am i best sticking with my TomTom?

I thought the cigarette lighter power supply's go off when the key's are removed...mine does

The D4D needs some oomph to start it especially on cold days...so would not advise leaving a cold box trickling over...but others on here may have other ideas...Also I believe you can create a switch to bypass the power for the cigarette power....(i take it you mean the one in the back boot)

Used the sat nav in a Toyota before...ok but cant re-route as quick as TomTom and a bit more fiddly..if your using it all the time I would stick with TomTom..just upgraded my TomTom to v6 and it's even better....Unless you only need the sat in one car....The Radio in your car is the sat nav version you just need all the gubbins, dvd reader for maps and wiring loom...the gps receiver is also separate...little shark fin areal...I believe there was one for sale on eBay may still be there.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:
