K&n Flat Panel . Is It Worth It?

[size=3 OWNING A COROLLA 2.0 D4D , I HAVE TO SAY THAT IM DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE AND WITH ONLY 110 HORSES I BELIVE THAT THE ENGINE HAS ALOT MORE TO GIVE , CONSIDERING THAT THE VW GOLF DIESEL FROM THE SAME SIZE ENGINE DEVELOPS 150BHP. COULD ANYONE TELL ME IF A K&N FLAT PANEL FILTER WOULD SQUEEZE ANY EXTRA BHP FROM THE BIG LUMP. (NOT THE MISSIS , THE ENGINE)

You might get a couple of BHP but nothing your going to actually notice. Chipping diesels seems to give the best performance gains, don't know if there is much/anything for your car though.

The only difference you'll notice is the noise, it might drown out some of that derv chugging ;)
