Trd Spoiler..

What do you guys think of the TRD spoiler on a non TRD MR2?

Would my MR2's bodykit pull it off?

Worried it would look too big.

get it!!

IMO the TRD spoiler is one of the best looking spoilers for the MR2. A stock car couldn't pull it off... but you should be able too.

Would be good to get rid of the rev1 spolier also!!

Also, if you really want to tart up the look of your car Andy, get a pair of bomex air scoops, Pheonix power rear splitters (or a different bumper), Toms front spats (for the skirts) and Border scoops (that fit on the skirts - Rogue sell em).

It would look bluddy minted! Spoiler purple, Bomex scoops black and border side scoops black! ... Sorted!

Oh... and get a Turbo engine lid.

Looking at Border rear spats...

What are Border scoops?

Think I will have the spoiler purple and the middle part black!

Prob keep the n/a engine lid ready for when get the turbo conversion :P

Dont like the look of those at all!

Do they fit Toms side skirts?

It would look good Jappy. I don't think the spoiler's the bit that makes your car lairy! ;) :D

I love the Border side scoops. Makes a big difference to the airflow CFM. I'd have them over the roof scoops anyday. Admittedly they don't blend in very well just stuck on the top, but I'm sure a decent bodyshop could do a good job of blending them in to your sideskirts and vent.

I found a picture I once downloaded that had a TRD widebodied 2 next to a stock one... both with the TRD wing. Even with no other body kit (as far as I can tell from the back) I still don't think it looks out of place, so it should be fine on yours. The 3/4 angle might look funny with no bodykit at all...

I love the look of them just dont want it to stand out too much. The only other option is a Rev5 spoiler.

Might look into it but will have to get all my holes filled from the Rev1 spoiler.

Just found another pic of that white one... it does appear to have a bodykit... minus rear spats/bumper...

Jesus... you know you wanna give me your rev5 spoiler.... dont you ;) hehe

I personally like rev5... but as peeps have said the 'standing out' quality of your car Jappy is most prolly not the spoiler :P

woot woot carbon fibre wing, def the way to go if you want ultimate downforce. I'm thinking about getting one at some point, after the power upgrades i will go to making a venturi underpanel and diffuser, all matched up with a good splitter to create more downforce.

the TRD spoiler on your car should be ok, as long as the body looks wide enough to accomadate it i dont see why not.

But being really honest, its like whenever i see a scbooy type r spoiler and think......... thats a little extreme isnt it?
