Gauge Pods/holders

Hi folks,

I'm getting a couple of gauges - Oil pressure and oil Temp (52mm), and i was just wondering what gauge pods/holders people have.

Are there any specific A-pillar pods for our car, or any universal ones that fit well?

I was looking at DIN gauge holders but they only seem to do ones for 3 gauges.

Any advice, pictures of yours would be welcome

I just used a normal tacky plastic one off evilbay which cost about £7 iirc. You could make your own din panel with just two holes or........ buy another gauge. :P :D .

As for the pillar pods I've seen them for sale but damned if I can remember where.

Looked round for ages for a twin gauge pillar pod that would fit well be couldnt find 1. So i just got a universal one.

It didnt fit well so i got the old fibre glass out and shaped it to the pillar, primed it, sprayed it black. cant tell ive done it and it fits perfect. Really pleased with the results.

Hyper S&R sell the A pillar mount 2 gauges in 52mm or 60mm.

Can you not get a pillar pods especially for the gen6 which replace the trim panel?

i have one for my gen 5 and it was easy as pie to fit (if not a bit expensive)
